My buddy and I went to a farm tonight that has been a good fox hole for us for years.
I started with a bird distress for a few minutes then switched to Eastern Cottontail. The female red came straight in committed. I squeaked to stop her at about 40yds. We double tapper her, DRT. I switched to Platinum Grey and the male came in on the same path but I think he smelled her dead. He stopped and turned back the way he came from. He went behind a knoll but we could still catch glimpses of him. He sat down and was smelling the air. We moved a few yards to get a better view and I squeaked at him. He stood up and we double tapped him. DRT.
