I grew up as a Navy brat and haven't
stopped roaming since. I have lived and worked all over the world, been a ranch hand, commercial king
crab and halibut fisherman, oil field roustabout, bell/saturation (deep sea) diver, Porshe/Ferrari/Mercedes
salesmen, and building contractor among other things. I am currently a Master Driver Trainer for a major
trucking firm, but am working on my Project Management certification so I can once again, "change my career".
It looks like I'm going to be the "man" in my grandson's life, so I'll either stay young or get old really
quick, but either way, he'll learn to hunt.
I have been hunting and shooting since the age of ten or so, and have taken moose, elk, caribou, deer, antelope,
etc. for meat, and can count Kodiak bear, and mountain lion, among the predators I've taken besides coyotes.
I am relatively new to calling coyotes instead of spot and stalk, but I'm learning fast. I still can't decide
which I like best, "close encounters" using hand calls, or long shots using a remote e-caller. They are both
such a thrill.
I hope you enjoy the Predator Masters community as much as I do. This a great place to learn a lot about our
sport and to make new friends.
