Ga dogs

We hunted 6 stands and had a great night ! We saw 10+ yotes last night. I killed two males and my buddy got a female. I also knocked one down that I took for “done” and turned my attention to another dog….when I looked back he had got to his feet and was running off into the river bottom.

With a little better luck and shooting we could have easily had 4 or 5. But I’ll take a 3 dog night.

Great night there Keith

Another Gawgaa yote hunter here but I'm a bit north of you in Bartow county (mostly) where shots are limited to short to medium distances

What kind of scopes are you guys running and what are average shot distances?

Hey Burnsome you are just an hour north. I started with an ATN, then a Pulsar and now I’m using an N-vision.

I’ve got buddies using pulsar, AGM and IRay bolts.

We are hunting some big pastures and hayfields so sometimes we see yotes way further than we have the ability to shoot.

We’ve killed a few over 200 but most shots are 50-200 with the average probably 125-150.
