Rudy Calderone / badtothebone
few years I’ve also hunted yotes in some of the western states.
I’ve been after coyotes for over 45 years. I started with a wind up record player and some old 45 rpm records with distress sounds. It was scratchy, mono, and the needle looked like sewing pin. LOL!
From there I graduated to a Sony boom box and cassettes. Then came assorted e-callers, Johnny Stewarts and on to Fox Pros.
Hand calls have always been my favorite way to hunt them though. Myfirst hand call I made from a mop handle, with files, pocket knife, sand paper, and a reed from a dog chew toy. It was butt-ugly but worked!
That lit my fuse and I’ve been making calls ever since.
I put together a few pictures of some of the fellows from PredatorMasters I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, hunted with, or shot with.
Predator Masters is an amazing site, and I’m proud to be an active partof the organization.
Warm regards, Rudy |
