Only time I used 5 round mags was when I huntedin Arizona because 5 was the legal limit. At least once I ran it dry shooting at a runner.
I prefer the 20 round Pmags. I could never understand why they are harder to find than the 30s and usually cost more.
30s stick out too far, and add more weight for hunting. Often need more than 5 for hogs, but rarely more than 20.
If walking to coyote stands and you shoot a double or triple (or miss a couple) and have another stand to make before you get back to the truck you better have a pocket of shells or another mag.
PRI in the 6x6.8s and Pmag in everything else, all 10 rounders. I don't spray prey and hunt different states so I have to comply with the laws. Honestly I like the way 10 rounders fit anyway.
