This is little curly Koa screamer I did a quick and dirty turn on this morning. The wood blank was almost to small to turn and it fought me all the way but I cobbled it out it was a very hard piece of wood.
It has a stainless over mylar reed in it tuned young raspy jack distress. Just a simple little distress call.
This one is 28 bucks tyd.

That curly Koa is tough to work with. I have a really nice piece of it that I have had for about 25 years. I turned a call out of it several months ago, it fought me the whole way as well. Hard, very open grained and you have to go slow not to pull chips out. But it makes a beautiful call in the end. Just takes some extra effort. Nice job!
