Baking a loaf of Artisan bread tonight, the dough has been proofing all day. It goes in the oven in 45 minutes and will be perfect for breakfast in the morning.
Back when I was running traplines I took Wednesday off and baked the bread for the week, pies and oatmeal cookies. While I was baking I'd make a big dinner and my wife would pick up all the neighborhood bachelors for a home cooked meal. Sometimes they had to snowshoe up to the house.
